Deer, turkey, and waterfowl hunts require the applicable WMA license and hunting license. Waterfowl also requires current HIP and any required state and federal stamps.

An area permit and daily permit are required unless you use Outdoor Alabama's WMA Check-In application. Area-specific seasons, bag limits, zones, and exceptions vary.

No; MANAGEMENT AREA (Youth) Nov. 14–15 – Two deer a day, one unantlered deer and one antlered buck.; Barbour and Bullock Counties (Primitive Weapons) Nov. 16–20 – Two deer a day, one unantlered deer and one antlered buck.; (Gun) Nov. 21–22, Jan. 7–10, and Jan. 21–24 – Two deer a day, one unantlered deer and; (Gun) Feb. 4–7 – One antlered buck a day. (Feb. 6 Bonus Buck Day must be validated; Zone A: (Gun) Nov. 27–Dec. 6 – Two deer a day, one unantlered deer and one antlered buck.; CONTACT INFORMATION: Zone B: (Gun) Dec. 11–20 – Two deer a day, one unantlered deer and one antlered buck.; Nov. 14, and Fridays and Saturdays of all other gun hunt dates.
