1. Dogs may be used for hunting gray squirrel, migratory birds, non-protected birds, quail, and rabbits, except dogs are prohibited in the Bruce Bowman archery still hunt area. Dogs also may be used to hunt raccoons, except in the Roy R. Burnsed still hunt area. 2. In the Bruce Bowman Archery Still Hunt Area, only bows may be used for hunting, except crossbows, airbows, and bows equipped with a draw-lock device are allowed by Persons With Disabilities Crossbow Permit. All other regulations for the small game season apply. 3. Raccoon may be taken at night by aid of a light and dogs (except in still hunt areas), with .22 rimfire firearms other than .22 magnum or with a single shot .410 gauge centerfire and muzzleloading shotgun using shot no larger than No. 6. The hunting of raccoon by display or use of a light from a moving vehicle, boat, or animal is prohibited. 4. Taking wildlife at night with a gun equipped with a thermal or night-vision device is prohibited. 5. Hunting with centerfire rifles is allowed. 6. Northern bobwhite may be released and taken by centerfire and muzzleloading shotgun provided each individual or group participating possesses a daily released quail permit and proof (including the name and address of the vendor and date of purchase) that the northern bobwhite were purchased within the past 90 days from a game farm licensed by the Commission or another state.
