Big Game Small Game - Same as statewide seasons except as noted. Deer season follows Deer Management Unit 4. Trapping and small game hunting closes at sunset the day before hog control season. Bear - Same as statewide Bear Hunt Zone 4. Archery only. See page 72–73 for bear hunting details. Wild Hog (Control Season - Dogs Permitted) - Jan. 8–10. No limit, either sex. Only authorized participants allowed on the area during the Wild Hog Control Season. All participants in the hog control season must wear on the upper portion of their body and head a minimum of 500 square inches of blaze orange/ pink, visible front and back. Participants may use any legal weapon and ammunition that is legal for taking Deer, Bear, or Elk. Legal hours - 30 minutes before sunrise and to 30 minutes after sunset.
